Your contribution matters.
All donations to The Agora LA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
You will receive a letter/receipt to claim your tax reduction. If you did not receive your letter, please write us here. If your donation is for $250 or more, we are obligated by law to send you a receipt for tax purposes.

03 · Why we give
We aim to build a bridge between public education and higher academia:
We are currently the only philosophical forum that provides world-class speaking engagements for free to the public. Parallel companies, like TED or DEVLEARN, charge anywhere from $1,625 to $7,500 USD for entry fees to such events. The Agora does not want socioeconomic status to be a barrier for aspiring intellectuals from any walk of life. We believe that education is one of the key variables that affect upward mobility, so charging for it only serves to perpetuate a cycle of exclusion.
The ground-breaking model of The Agora will be pivotal in disrupting the status quo, bridging the traditional divides in education, and creating a revolutionary environment for discovering the ideas that have the power to change the world.
Your generosity will help us provide in-person, educational resources to promising individuals who might otherwise lack access to such enriching opportunities.
04 · The strategic plan
Your giving enables us to enact a strategic plan:

Hosting yearly summits of experts for inventing divergent strategies to tackle global crises.

Building a center of innovation equipped with an amphitheater that replicates that of Classical Greece in the heart of LA.
